The Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona is a museum adjacent to the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA). The building is a mixture of old and new styles, dating from the early 18th century up to recent renovation of a facade in the Plaça de les Dones. The centre, one of the most visited museums in Barcelona, hosts temporary exhibitions, a cinema, concerts and other cultural events.

Exhibition opening hours
The CCCB is open every day except: 25 December and 1 January.
From Tuesday to Sunday: 11 am to 8 pm
Thursday: 11 am to 10 pm
Closed: Non-holiday Mondays, 25 December and 1 January
Special Opening times: 24, 26, 31 December and 5 and 6 January, 11 am to 3 pm
The ticket desk closes half an hour before the Centre's closing time.
2011: Open doors to the exhibitions, and entry free of charge on the following days:
- 12 February: celebration of the feast day of Santa Eulàlia, Barcelona's winter festival.
- 18 May: International Museums Day
- 24 September: to celebrate the Festival of La Mercè, patron saint of the city of Barcelona
Ticket prices
Admission to one exhibition
Price: 5.00 €
Concessions: 3.00 € for senior citizens, under-25s, large families, single-parent families and group visits (minimum 15 persons), and for everyone on Wednesdays and from 8 to 10 p.m. on Thursdays.
Free admission: under-16s, Friends of the CCCB, senior citizens in possession of a Targeta Rosa, the unwaged, holders of the Teacher’s Card of the Generalitat de Catalunya, members of the ICOM, accredited journalists, members of collectives with which the CCCB has a free-entry agreement and on Sundays from 3 to 8 p.m., as well as International Museum Day, Museums at Night, and the city festivities of Santa Eulàlia and La Mercè.
Combined admission to two or more exhibitions
Price: 7.00 €
Concessions: 5.00 € for senior citizens, under-25s, large families, single-parent families and group visits (minimum 15 persons and for everyone on Wednesdays and from 8 to 10 p.m. on Thursdays.
Articketbcn: 22 €. A single ticket giving admission to the CCCB, MACBA, MNAC, La Pedrera, Fundació Antoni Tàpies, Fundació Joan Miró and Museu Picasso.
